DeftEdge and SaLaCo Team Up to Support Finland’s Development Evaluations
We’re thrilled to announce that DeftEdge has partnered with Sari Laaksonen Consulting Oy (SaLaCo) to secure an exciting new framework agreement with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland (MFA). This agreement, known as the Framework Agreement for Centralised Evaluations (FACE), will allow our consortium to provide vital evaluation services to support Finland’s development policy and cooperation efforts.
Under FACE, our team will conduct small-scale reviews, assessments, and syntheses as well as provide training services. This work will play a crucial role in strengthening Finland’s development policy implementation and enhancing its accountability and results-based management.
Key highlights of our relevant expertise include:
- Extensive experience in conducting a wide range of evaluations, from strategic policy assessments to project-specific reviews
- A commitment to gender equality, inclusion, and climate considerations in all our work
- Rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure credible, timely, and useful evaluations
- Innovative approaches to maximize learning and utility throughout the evaluation process
Our consortium brings together SaLaCo’s expertise in Finland’s development policy and DeftEdge’s long-standing experience in international development evaluation. This collaboration allows us to offer a strong blend of local knowledge and global perspective.
We’re excited to support the MFA’s evaluation efforts and contribute to the continuous improvement of Finland’s development cooperation. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality, actionable insights that will inform strategic decisions and enhance development outcomes. As we embark on this new partnership, we look forward to working closely with the MFA’s Development Evaluation Unit (EVA-11) and contributing to Finland’s efforts to promote sustainable development and poverty reduction worldwide.
