The scope of the evaluation covered the United Nations Industrial Development Organization’s (UNIDO) Medium-term Programme Frameworks (MTPF) for the periods 2018-2021 and the design for 2022-2025. The evaluation assessed the design, implementation, and results achievement of the 2018-2021 MTPF, as well as the formulation process and design quality of the upcoming 2022-2025 MTPF. It aimed to identify factors influencing the success of these frameworks and provided recommendations for future strategic frameworks. This evaluation was crucial for enhancing accountability, strategic alignment, and results-based management within UNIDO, supporting the organization’s learning, and informing the development of subsequent program frameworks.
