DE evaluated the “Developing a Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) and Infrastructure Financing Network in Asia and the Pacific” project, managed by ESCAP. This project aimed to build a network of public authorities, financiers, and market participants to enhance PPP usage and attract private investment for public infrastructure in Asia and the Pacific. It targeted 21 countries, focusing on bolstering inclusive, sustainable infrastructure aligned with the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.

The evaluation assessed the project’s effectiveness in achieving its goals, ensuring accountability, and providing insights for future program design and capacity development initiatives. The results were intended to inform ESCAP, its member States, and development partners to refine strategies for PPP and infrastructure financing in the region.
