The evaluation used a mixed-methods approach, combining in-depth qualitative and comprehensive quantitative analyses. This approach encompassed a systematic desk review of extensive project documentation for baseline data, alongside thematic analysis of qualitative data from semi-structured key informant interviews with stakeholders across multiple levels. Field visits to specific project sites in San Salvador, Kingston, and Xalapa offered direct observational insights and qualitative assessments of the project’s real-world impacts. Concurrently, a structured online survey was administered to implementers and partners to gather quantitative data, which was statistically analyzed to discern patterns and trends. This holistic methodological framework enabled the triangulation of data from diverse sources, ensuring a robust, multi-dimensional evaluation of the project’s effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, sustainability, and overall impact in fostering climate resilience in urban communities within the LAC region.
